We sent off the Ole Year with Cocktails at the bar, then tying our written wishes on our Wishing Tree in our Enchanted Garden. Dinner was served Italian family style with guests meeting and getting to know each other. Shoes were then scattered to dance the new year in barefoot, while Prosecco flowed and Tiramisu indulged.
We have re-opened the Monkey Bar, this time with a regular schedule of Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 12 noon to sunset.
Not a rave place, but a cool chill out vibe on the beach, complete with hammocks and swing seats that face the bar. Laluna has revamped the Monkey Bar as its new BeachClub. Drinks, and light snacks and a soon to be bbq day (follow us on social, to see events at the Monkey Bar) . Stand up Paddle boards and kayaks are available for rent, to explore the neighbouring bays.
The Space is also available for rent for small events and celebrations. The access is from the Portici Beach public beach access, close to the International airport.
Contact us for interest in renting the Monkey Bar Space.
The Art Studio has evolved into a showcase space for local artists. We are pleased to be currently exhibiting the works of Godfrey Luke – The Wirebender. Godfrey’s sculptures already grace Laluna’s sculpture garden in the adjacent Enchanted Forest. Godfrey’s work consists of pieces of ‘found items’, up-cycled aluminum wire, wire mesh, driftwood and more, to create a magical experience. Artists works are for sale, with 100% of the sale going directly to the artist.
We believe in the talent of our local artists, that we feel their need, for a more international platform to be viewed and appreciated.

One of our philosophies at Laluna is about ‘Helping Others’ . We are proud to be associated with ReachWithin organization, that helps the children of Grenada, through programs of assistance to Government children’s home caregivers, transition care and homes for children that have to leave the orphanages or children’s shelters when they reach 18 years old.
Ways to help
How did 2023 go by so quickly. Probably as our lives get more hectic with each passing year.
That is why it is always important to carve out some ‘chill out’ time for you and maybe with someone special.
That’s why little escapes to small boutique hotels are becoming more and more popular.
People want to be on break from it all, and not necessarily be surrounded by 300 other guests.
So when you are ready to shrug off those winter blues and head south. Book your cottage or villa here.
New airlift always improving for Grenada. Check out How To Get Here
We wait for you with a cold rum punch and a warm Grenadian smile.
ciao
Buon Anno!
