Even when on vacation, visitors to Grenada can take part in their favorite holiday traditions, all while making new holiday memories. After one Thanksgiving at Laluna, you may want to spend all of the ones to come in Grenada!
The Perfect Thanksgiving
While your neighbors and friends at home are de-icing their cars and putting another log on the fire, you will wake up Thanksgiving morning in Grenada with the sun shining and the beach mere footsteps away. Take your time getting out of bed; there’s no turkey to put in the oven and no tidying up for guests to be done. Have room service deliver a cappuccino and fruit platter, and relax on your private patio.
If you feel like working off some of the evening’s upcoming meal, attend a morning Vinyasa yoga class or take a stroll down the beach. If pampering is what you have in mind, head over to the Laluna Spa for a massage from our Balinese masseuses. The relaxation that the massage will bring will leave you feeling extremely thankful.
Whether your holiday traditions involve watching the parade or a football game, Laluna’s WiFi will allow you to stream your favorite moments from home. Skype with family and friends to wish them a happy holiday; just be sure not to rub it in too much about what a fantastic time you’re having in paradise!
Have a light lunch in the Laluna restaurant, then spend the rest of your day relaxing on the beach, swimming, and taking in the scenery. Before dinner, have a drink at the Sunset Lounge and take in the magnificent spectacle that is the sun setting over the Caribbean Sea.
To give our guests a taste of home, Laluna Resort will be offering a Thanksgiving meal this Thursday, November 28th. For our special Thanksgiving dinner our chef will be preparing turkey, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato cake. For dessert, a special pumpkin pie will be available, deliciously finishing this traditional meal. As a perfect pairing with dinner, a bottle of Principe Spinelli is recommended. With ripe red fruit dominating the nose, the wine is enhanced by notes of citrus and bitter, excellent with the evening’s meal.
As always, Laluna welcomes guests from off-property and reservations are recommended.
We hope to see you soon. Happy Thanksgiving.
