Grenada Makes MSN’s Top 20 to Visit

Along with exotic locales including Singapore, Marseille, and Nicaragua, Grenada has been listed as one of MSN’s “20 Best Travel Destinations for 2013“. This isn’t the first recognition Grenada has received this year. The MSN accolade follows the National Geographic Traveler designation of Grenada as one of the “Best Trips in 2013“,  and Grand Anse Beach being named to Caribbean Journal’s “The Beach List — the Caribbean’s 10 Best Beaches for 2013“.

According to the MSN article, one of the main attractions to Grenada is that it is still somewhat of an undiscovered jewel in the Caribbean. As it says, “Many Caribbean islands have been overwhelmed and over-commercialized by resorts, cruise ships and crowds of tourists. Grenada is an exception.” The article later goes on to mention the fabulous people of Grenada, saying, “… Grenada’s culture is a joyful mix of African, Indian and European, and there are many festivals and cultural events unique to the island.”
Laluna from the Sea
While the island of Grenada has always been a beacon for in-the-know travelers, these recent shout-outs will be sure to bring more attention to the Spice Isle. But no matter how many more visitors reach the island, Laluna Resort will remain a secluded oasis, set apart from the crowd. Our boutique beachfront resort, only a few beaches down from the much-lauded Grand Anse Beach, features stunning sea views as far as the eye can see. With a less busy waterfront, guests can enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, hobie catting, and standup paddleboarding without needing to dodge other beach-goers.

With regular direct flights from Miami, Toronto, and New York, Grenada is an easy vacation location. Plus, there’s nothing better than a warm-weather Caribbean escape once the mercury starts to drop in the winter! We can’t wait to see you soon.
Ciao,
